"The Absent Architect", Cleary & Connolly

This interactive public artwork will send you back in time, when you will visit the studio of architect Sir William Chambers as he discusses details of the building with his client James Caulfield, 1st Earl of Charlemont.

The exhibition is on from 24th March to 30th April 2013

10 – 5 pm.

Admission is free

Funded through the Engaging with Architecture Scheme – a joint initiative from the Arts Council and Government Policy on the Architecture Implementation Programme 2009 -2015. It has also been supported by the OPW.

The Casino at Marino is open to the public every year from 14th March to 31st Oct  from 10 – 5 and from 10 - 6 from June to Sept  Free parking

Focus On



Greystones Educate Together National School appointed a voluntary committee with relevant expertise to oversee the per cent for art commissioning process. An external curator, Máire Davey, was appointed specifically for her expertise in working in a highly collaborative way as meaningful involvement from the students and school was viewed as central to the process. The procurement route chosen was limited invited competition.
