Artist-Led Archive Reactivation 2015

Artist-Led Archive Reactivation 2015: Call To Artist-led Initiatives 1970 to Present

The Artist-led Archive in collaboration with NIVAL invites you to contribute to this nationally significant archive project, documenting over 80 artist-led initiatives, over a period of 40 years of activity, a period marking one of the most turbulent eras of social, economic and political change in Ireland. Initially compiled in 2006, by artist and curator Megs Morley, to activate, initiate and inform research, practice and dialogue about this important area of artistic practice, the Artist-led Archive is now in a process of reactivation and is re-launching as part of “More Than One Maker”, an exhibition to be presented in the Project Spaces at the Irish Museum of Modern Art from 28 May to 12 July 2015.

If you would like to contribute information or documentation to the Artist-led Archive relating to artist-led collectives, initiatives or organisations, you can drop into the open registration of Artist-led Archive reactivation facilitated by Megs Morley from 13 to 14 June in IMMA’s Project Spaces, Kilmainham, Dublin 8.
