Commission to mark anniversary of 1889 rail tragedy, Armagh. Deadline 19/12/13. Fee £25,000.

Armagh City and District Council is seeking proposals from artists/suitably qualified/experienced practitioners for the creation of a new sculpture to mark the 125th anniversary of the Armagh rail disaster.  

The sculpture is to be situated on the Mall, Armagh City and installed by the beginning of June 2014 at the latest. 

The total fee for the commission is £25,000

This is a single stage commission and no fee will be paid for submitting proposals and concepts.

Deadline for receipt of proposals and concepts is 4pm 19th December 2013

Nazareth Housing Association provides independent living houses for individuals and couples who are 65 and over and on the Sligo County Council housing list.  Nazareth Village is comprised of 48 houses in a garden setting.  The Village was financed as a public-private partnership between Nazareth Housing Association and Sligo County Council with funding from the Department of Environment, Community and Local Government.
